Following its opening in Barcelona and its display at the MiCo during the 75th International Astronautical Congress (IAC), the traveling exhibition Our Ocean from Space recently arrived at the UNESCO Headquarters in Paris. The exhibition has reached Paris with the support of Mercator Ocean International, as part of the OceanPredict Symposium 2024, taking place at the UNESCO headquarters in Paris from 18 to 22 November 2024.

 

The opening ceremony was attended by Vidar Helgesen, Executive Secretary, IOC/UNESCO; Pierre Bahurel, Director-General of Mercator Ocean; Rejane Hervé, Responsible for Outreach and Partnership, IOC/UNESCO; Maria Mendendez, Head of Corporate and Institutional Communications at ESA; Craig Donlon, Head of the Earth Observation Systems Architecture Office, ESA; Eric Chassignet, Director and Professor at Florida State University; Fiorella Coliolo and Benoît Delpanque, Curators of the exhibition.
